The Directorate General of Railways, Ministry of Transportation of The Republic of Indonesia intends to implement the Construction of Railway Electrification and Double-Double Tracking of Java Main Line Project (I). The Project is to be carried out with the financial assistance from the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) under the Special Yen Loan Scheme.
